Module - SolarEdge

In the Daytopper module you can edit the login details for your SolarEdge inverter. If you need to edit your inverter settings, you can follow the steps below.

Step 1

Navigate to *http://daytopper.local/config in your browser and select SolarEdge

*) if you cannot connect to http://daytopper.local, you can use your ip instead. e.g. http://module-ip.local

Step 2

On this page you can enter your PlantID (same as Site ID) and API key. You can request those details by your installer.
If you can login yourself on https://monitoring.solaredge.com/solaredge-web/p/login you can create your own API key as can be viewed on: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iR26nmL5bXg

Your PlantId and API Key are saved on the module only and not saved in the cloud. So your inlog details are safe. We like to emphasize this because we take your privacy very seriously.

Further more you need to fill in your Daytopper API key. You can find this key in the Daytopper App under the My inverters page

If you followed the steps correctly, you can now go to the Daytopper App and see your solar data within 5 minutes.
