At Solar Daytopper, we focus on gamification, but we also make it very easy to track your payback time on the inverter page.

When you set up an inverter, you can enter your purchase price and your kWh price. Once the module sends the data to the Solar Daytopper app, we can calculate what your solar panels have earned you based on this information. This gives you a clear daily overview of your solar panel earnings and shows you what percentage of your initial investment you have already paid off. We can provide a forecast only after collecting two months of data.

In the future, we also plan to support multiple inverters. This way, you won't have to manually calculate what each of your solar panel systems has cost or earned you; you can see it all in one overview. Please note that this feature is still in beta and we are testing it. If you want to use this feature, let us know so we can activate it for you.

We also track other useful information for you, such as your "all-time high" and "year-time high." This shows you your best day of the year and your best day overall. Additionally, we indicate the peak moment of the day, i.e., when you generated the most power. This is also fun to compare with others.
